We are currently looking for Senior Project Engineer who can join our dynamic Southern California management team. This position will work on site, in our Southern California office on the project (605/60). The project is a $161,000,000 dollar Caltrans project on the 605 freeway in and around Norwalk & Rose Hills. This project consist on roadway rehabilitation and replacement of the concrete pavement. In addition, we will have other alternative delivery (CMAR & CMGC) projects in the area that you can engage with as well if you are the type of person that wants to multi task and likes to be involved in a variety of projects.

We are looking for a person that is capable of performing layout of various items, tracking quantities, ordering materials, supporting the Superintendent & Project Manager, thinking outside the box, tracking costs and providing budgets to foreman with detail labor and equipment assumptions, is detailed oriented with experience heavy highway construction. The position is the glue on the project and will integrate with the project team. This position is responsible to build and maintain a strong relationship with the subcontractors, owner, suppliers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
Work On Site to help solve problems that occur during construction
Partner with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan
Maintain thorough understanding of the Myers contract with Caltrans
Monitor project costs and Job Cost Report
Analyze and forecast monthly Total Cost Projection reports
Monitor project labor
Lead the project’s quality process
Develop, schedule and lead project teams on submittals, RFI's and Change Orders
Develop and maintain effective relationships with the Designer, vendors, subcontractors and owners
Implement all applicable Safety Programs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
3+ Years of Experience in highly complex and related highway or structures construction projects in California.
Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and self-perform work
Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities

We are currently looking for an AP Specialist in Sacramento, CA (Natomas Area). This person must be detail-oriented and able to adapt to changing environments with strict deadlines. They must be a self-starter who can work well as part of a team, or individually, with great communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Process vendor invoices, including distribution for coding and approval; prepare and process vendor payments; Research, analyze and resolve complex payment and vendor issues; Prepare vendor account reconciliations
- Perform the initial research of vendor bond issues and claim notices
- Administer and process recurring payments - Verify the accuracy of A/P data entry and payment batch output
- Assist in month-end and year-end close as well as the accrual processes
- Assist in the preparation of various reports including those related to audits, compliance and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of Form 1099 information and returns
- Understand all of the Company's accounts payable functions to facilitate the training and development of accounts payable staff
- Provide training for new staff and on-going training for existing staff
- Other Accounting/Admin duties as needed

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3+ years of A/P experience
- Experience with Viewpoint accounting software a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish (read, write, and speak) is a plus
